Government Alloted Primary Schools to Private Sector
Punjab Government has decided to hand over the primary school to the private sector under their public private partnership. The government has taken this step in order to raise the standard of education in the province. The government has taken the step to hand over 1000 primary schools in the first phase and these schools will be handed over to the private sector for the period of two years. The government will pay Rs.550 per student to the private sector so that they can meet the expenses of the schools. The government wants to raise the standard of education at the primary level and these schools are being handed over to the private sector under this scheme.
