SMDC BDS and MBBS Admission 2018

MBBS and BDS admissions 2018 are being started in the Sharif Medical and Dental College Lahore. SMDC has total 100 seats for the MBBS class and 50 seats for the BDS class. The SMDC has further categorized the seats of these disciplines like for the Pakistani national students, there are 90 seats for MBBS, 7 seats for the overseas Pakistani and 3 seats for the foreign national students. In the BDS, 45 seats are reserved for the Pakistani nationals, 3 seats of BDS are reserved for the overseas students and 2 seats are reserved for the foreign national students.
The candidates can get their admission forms from the college secretariat and it is also available on the website of the medical college. The candidates can submit their application forms for grant of admission in the SMDC MBBS and BDS programs at their earliest. The foreign students can send their admission forms through Pakistani embassy in the country of origin. The Pakistani students will deposit the processing fee of Rs.500/- and overseas students will pay fee Rs.700/- and the foreign students will pay the pay order of US $50. The candidates should also read other instructions at the time of filling the admission forms and payment of the admission fee.

Eligibility Criteria:
• All those candidates who are applying against the seats of Local Pakistani must have clear their Intermediate with F.Sc Pre Medical and at least get 660 marks out of 1100 marks in the annual examination.
• Candidates who have done O level should have to submit the equivalence certificate
• All the overseas Pakistani and the foreign candidates who want to take admission in the Sharif Medical and Dental College must have an equivalent degree of F.Sc Pre Medical and they should also have to appear in the MCAT entry test taken every year by the University of Health Sciences
